1. Can you remove deep scratches or gouges from my vinyl flooring?
Our deep cleaning and buffing process can successfully erase minor surface scuffs and shallow scratches caused by shoes or light furniture dragging. However, if a sharp object has physically gouged or cut through the vinyl's wear layer, that plank cannot be repaired by cleaning alone. In those cases, we can help you replace the damaged planks seamlessly if you have leftover spares.
2. Will your professional cleaning warp my floating click-lock vinyl planks?
Not at all. We use commercial-grade, moisture-controlled equipment. Unlike traditional mopping which leaves puddles, our machines spray a controlled amount of pH-neutral cleaner and instantly vacuum the dirty fluid back up. No water is ever allowed to sit on the floor or seep into the click-lock joints, keeping your floor 100% safe from warping or buckling.
3. Can I just use a steam mop on my vinyl floor instead of hiring a professional?
We strongly advise against using steam mops on vinyl flooring. The intense, localized heat (often exceeding 100°C) can easily melt or weaken the glue holding the vinyl together, causing the edges to curl, warp, or un-click. Furthermore, excessive moisture can get trapped underneath, leading to mold growth. Our professional process uses room-temperature solutions and mechanical agitation to clean safely.
4. How long does the cleaning process take, and when can I walk on the floor?
For a standard HDB 3 to 5-room flat living hall, the process typically takes between 2 to 3 hours. Because our high-powered extraction system removes almost all moisture instantly, the floor dries completely within 15 to 30 minutes after we finish buffing. You can walk on it almost immediately!
5. How often should I have my vinyl floors professionally deep cleaned in Singapore?
